One day of the year, we get this beautiful opportunity to give back to the people who have given us so much — our mothers. We love them but may not be able to express so much though as we get older. Sometimes we become them. Whether she carried you inside of her for nine months or is a non-blood-related woman who has loved you like her own, maternal love is eternal. Perhaps it is easier for all of us to take our frustration out on mothers than anyone else in this world because they love us unconditionally and limitlessly. A good mother has been historically expected to contribute her whole life to her family. She is the glue that holds a family together because it is up to her to provide the loving care and support needed by growing children. It takes a lot of learning and practice to become a qualified mother. It is not an easy task because mothers must learn as they go. It will only be helpful if they were raised in a caring home so that they can pass it on to their children. A good and true mother is obligated to care for her family and put them before anyone else. She is the person who taught us to never give up and to always keep our head up. She will be the reason behind your success one day.
Now kids demand privacy because the Internet and gadgets provide them with alternative sources of engagement. But only a mother knows these are diversions that cannot be a substitute for real emotion and in these digital times, tries to inculcate the value of real touch and feel experiences. Every time you feel like giving up, your mother will be there to remind you of your worth as a human being. She will always encourage you to keep reaching for the unreachable and never settle for anything less than we deserved. No matter how bizarre your dreams, she will always ask you to go after what makes you happy. Today as we get older, we realize more and more how much she had done for us and continues to do it every single day. And for that sake, we must be thankful in whatever way we can because she deserves all the respect and love for the sacrifices she has made for us. Without her, we would have never learnt how to be a friend or how to show compassion to another person. She is also an incredible person at getting things done. It does not matter about the situation, she will always come through with whatever you need. She will always put others’ need before hers. The importance of parents in life depends on our sanskaras and thinking. They play the biggest role in our development whether it’s our mental, physical, social, financial or else career development. They help us in every step of our life.
