- Buttermilk– Buttermilk contains lactic acid that normalizes the acidity in the stomach. Simply drinking buttermilk help to reduce neutralize the acid content in the stomach.
- Ginger– Ginger anti-inflammatory and antibacterial help to improve appetite and digestion. Ginger tea helps to provide relief from acidity and improve the digestive fire. Even a spoonful of ginger juice taken two to three times a day can stimulate digestion.
- Water– If you frequently suffer from acidity, drink a glass of lukewarm water every day before going to sleep, immediately after waking up in the morning. Having water during or immediately after a meal can lead to improper digestion.
- Cloves– Cloves can help alleviate acidity due to their carminative effect that increases hydrochloric acid in the stomach. You can also drink clove tea a couple of times a day that helps to reduce the acidity symptoms.
