Residents doctors in the national capital have decided to call off their agitation after 14 days. These doctors have been peacefully agitating to expedite NEET-PG Conselling 2021. The decision comes following a series of meetings with representatives of the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) with multiple Delhi Police officials on December 30.

According to the release by FORDA, they continued their protest as the response after meeting Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandviya on December 29 was not satisfactory. The following points were discussed in the meeting:
- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will submit the Committee Report to the Supreme Court of India before January 6, 2022 and will publish the NEET-PG 2021 Cousnelling schedule following the Court hearing on the above-mentioned date.
- The MoHFW regretted the unfortunate incident where protesting resident doctors were manhandled by Delhi Police.
- No punitive or disciplinary action against resident doctors who participated in the peaceful protest on December 27.
