The government on Wednesday announced that all incoming passengers will be screened at all airports across the country in an effort to contain the outbreak of deadly coronavirus outbreak.
So far, the deadly epidemic virus has claimed over 3000 lives globally.
“All passengers, coming from international flights will be screened at Delhi Airport now,” Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said.
A total of 28 positive cases have been detected in India, including 12 Indian nationals.

President Ram Nath Kovind has cancelled the Holi event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cancelled his Holi Milan programme in the wake of this virus.
“Experts across the world have advised to reduce mass gatherings to avoid the spread of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Hence, this year I have decided not to participate in any Holi Milan programme,” PM Modi tweeted.

The prime minister is personally monitoring the preparedness measures for novel coronavirus. The Health Ministry had held a high level meeting with major government hospitals in Delhi.
