Coronavirus: Death toll crosses 1000 in China

New Delhi: The death toll in China crossed 1000 due to deadly Coronavirus outbreak in Central part of the country.

The confirmed cases have gone up to 42,638.

The World Health Organization has declared the coronavirus outbreak to be a public health emergency and has also maintained that it poses a very grave threat for the rest of the world.

In India, three cases of infection were reported from Kerala, and two have tested negative.

The deadly virus is yet to be defined as an epidemic or pandemic, where an epidemic is the widespread occurrence of a disease in a particular region and pandemic is the global spread of disease.
