Two more cases of deadly Coronavirus have been detected in Delhi and Telangana, as per the Health Ministry.
“One positive case of COVID-19 has been detected in New Delhi, and one has been detected in Telangana,” the ministry said in a statement.
Both the patients are stable and being closely monitored, it added.
The person from Delhi has a travel history from Italy, while the Telangana one from has a travel history from Dubai.
The ministry also said further details of their travels are being ascertained.
India will screen passengers coming to India from Kathmandu, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia from Monday.
Currently, passengers from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and Japan are screened at 21 designated airports in the country for a possible exposure to the novel coronavirus.
As many as 305 travellers from the coronavirus affected countries have been identified and 237 are kept under home isolation in Kerala.
Most of the state governments have set up their camp for the passengers coming from virus affected countries. They are screened and monitored at these camps.
The deadly virus epidemic which broke out in China has so far claimed the lives of over 2900 people while the number of confirmed cases climbed to over 80,000, Chinese health officials said.
