Dr. Mandeep Singh, a plastic surgeon and Sr. Consultant Cosmetic at Paras Hospital, said, “Premature aging is pretty common now nowadays because of the lifestyle that people are following out of stress or smoking or other modifications in lifestyles, so to prevent the premature aging having a healthy lifestyle is important like, we need to take an adequate amount of water, fruits rich in vitamin C and avoid smoking.”
He said, “Initially the age factor mattered but now it is not so, as it is seen that the anti-aging treatment which people started at the age of 31 is now starting at the age of early 20s and sometimes some people may have specific health problems which may not be related to age but can be treated by these anti-aging treatments.”
Talking about the myths associated with this he said, “Taking treatment from a qualified medical practitioner is very important rather seeking treatments from these saloons, and prescribing something organic for treatment is a big myth,”

Exposing the skin to the sun for a long time can trigger the cause of wrinkles and black spots on the face regardless of age. Though it can be prevented by applying sunscreen to the skin whenever you are going outdoors and an ideal sunscreen is one that with an SPF of 25 or above.
2. Smoking and excessive consumption of alcohol
A good number of studies have shown that smoking and habitually drinking can be the biggest cause of facial wrinkles and premature aging. As consumption of alcohol shrinks blood vessels and reduces the blood flow to the skin and this causes the early signs of wrinkles and fine lines.
